Octana Dx / Website studio

The price and the date, before you sign anything.

Agreed in writing before we start. And a studio still answering your email a year later.

Every plan names its own reply time.

Why projects die

Five ways a website project goes wrong.

We read what people wrote after paying for a site and regretting it. These are their words, not ours.

  1. 01It took nearly a year, and cost far more than we were quoted.
  2. 02They stopped answering. Every message after that was ignored.
  3. 03I paid for the site. They still control it.
  4. 04They promised more, then charged more to finish it.
  5. 05The site exists. The work still does not come in.

Every one of these is a collision. A collision is a planning problem, so we plan it out first.

How we work

We design the collisions out first.

Our mark is two rings that cross. They pass cleanly because a gap was cut for them in advance. That is not a metaphor we invented after the fact. It is how a project has to be built.

A date, in writing.

Your launch date goes in the proposal. If we miss it for a reason that is ours, the final invoice is on us.

One person, start to finish.

Whoever designs your site builds it. Nothing gets handed to somebody you have never met.

You own all of it.

Domain, hosting login, files, code. In your name from week one, and still yours if you walk away.

A reply time you can hold us to.

Three business days on Starter, two on Growth, one on Pro. In the agreement, not just on this page.

Services

Three ways in.

Launch

01

A new site from nothing. We write the words, design the pages, build it, and put it live.

Rebuild

02

You already have a site. It is slow, it looks its age, or it never brought anything in. Same domain, new site.

Care

03

Monthly. We keep it fast, keep it patched, and make the changes you send us.

Process

Four stages, and you always know which one you are in.

  1. Map

    Stage one

One conversation on WhatsApp or email. We write down what the site has to do, then send a fixed price and a fixed launch date.

  2. Design

    Stage two

You see real pages in a browser, not a mood board. Your rounds of structural feedback are already in the price.

  3. Build

    Stage three

We build it, test it on real phones, and measure the speed. You get the numbers.

  4. Launch

    Stage four

It goes live and every login is handed over. Care starts here if you want it.

The process in full

Proof

No gallery. Here is what you can check instead.

A wall of screenshots proves somebody made something look good once. These are things you can measure yourself on any site we build.

0.3s Page load, measured on the live site
21KB HTML, CSS and JavaScript, compressed
AA WCAG 2.1 contrast and keyboard, every page
0 Trackers, cookies and analytics on this site

Ask for a live URL and run the numbers yourself. We will send the ones we are proud of and the ones we are still fixing.

Pricing

Three tiers, and every ceiling written down.

A one time build fee plus a monthly plan that keeps the site running and gets your changes made.

Questions

The things people ask before they trust us.

What happens if you disappear halfway through?

You hold the files from week one. Every design and every line of code sits in a repository in your name and updates as we go. If we vanished tomorrow, another studio could pick it up on Monday. Payment is staged too, so you never pay ahead of work that has landed.

On the monthly plan, who actually owns the site?

You do. Domain in your name, hosting account in your name, code yours from week one. The monthly runs for as long as we are the ones running the site, because that is what pays for the hosting, the checks and your changes. Stop it and you take every file with you. What stops is us running it, not your ownership of it.

How long does it really take?

Two weeks for a Starter landing page. Four for Growth and six for Pro are the working numbers, confirmed in writing before anything is booked. If your content runs late the date moves, and you will hear that the day it happens, not the week before launch.

What if I do not like the design?

One round of structural feedback on Starter, two on Growth, three on Pro, all in the price. You see real pages part way through rather than at the end. If it is still wrong after your last round, you pay for the work done and take the files with you. We would rather lose the second half than build something you avoid showing people.

Why not just use Squarespace or Wix?

If you need five pages and a contact form by Friday, use them. Genuinely. Come to us when the site has a specific job to do, has to load fast, and has to look like nobody else.

How do changes work after launch?

You send them to us and we make them. That is what the monthly plan is for, and small changes are already included up to your tier cap. There is no dashboard to learn and nothing you can break at eleven at night. Go past the cap and we quote the extra before starting it. If you wanted to spend evenings inside a page editor, you would have built the site yourself.

Tell us what the site has to do.

WhatsApp or email, no meeting to schedule. You get a price and a date back whether or not you hire us.
