Privacy Policy
Short, because we collect very little. This page says what we take, why, and how to get rid of it.
What this site collects
This website has no analytics, no advertising pixels, no cookies of any kind, and no third party tracking. Loading a page here does not create a record of you anywhere.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare handles the request and sees your IP address the way any host must in order to send you a page. Two outside services are used to serve fonts, Google Fonts and Fontshare, and your browser requests font files from them, which means those companies see your IP address as part of a normal web request. None of the three receives anything else from us, and none of them sends anything back to us.
What the form collects
If you fill in the form on the Get started page, you choose to send us your name, your email address, and whatever you write about your project. We use it to reply to you and to quote for the work. That is the only reason we hold it.
- We do not add you to a mailing list.
- We do not sell or share your details with anybody.
- We keep enquiries for two years, then delete them.
If you become a client
We hold what we need to run the project and to invoice you: your contact details, the project notes, and the invoices themselves. Invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires, which is longer than we would otherwise keep anything.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send one email to Octanadx@gmail.com and we will do it within thirty days. There is nothing to pay and no form to fill in.
Changes to this policy
If this changes we will update the date at the bottom of the page. If the change is significant and you are a client, you will get an email about it rather than being expected to notice.
Placeholder: the registered company name, company number, registered address, contact email and governing country still need to be filled in by Octana Dx Co. before this page is published. Everything else on this page describes how the site and the studio actually work.
